Formed in 1979 and based at Thame, Oxfordshire, Kubota (U.K.) Limited is a subsidiary of the Kubota Corporation, which was established in 1890 as a manufacturer of cast-iron water pipes in Osaka, Japan. In the early 1900s, the Kubota Corporation turned its attention towards powered equipment. The tremendous expertise and experience gained over the past century has led to many important product developments, helping reinforce Kubota's position as the number one world-wide within the various market sectors it serves.

Project - Signage and POS, Oxford

Location: Oxford, UK

The lettering Centre team worked with the designers of Kubota Ltd to create an array of POS and exterior and interior Signage.

Solution / Description
  • The POS systems were all fabricated in house using aluminium and acrylic folded into shape.
  • A number of projection signs were erected using twin tray formation aluminium panels, applied with vinyl graphics as shown. Panels fitted to internal frame work, which is suspended from a Pole.
  • The exterior signs were fabricated from an aluminium box section and tray formation face panel. The face panel was stencil cut and inlaid with opal acrylic - to illuminate. Illumination is provided by internal flourescent lamps.
